This role combines technical leadership, project management, and hands-on engineering to drive user acquisition and conversion.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a team of 6 engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvementDrive technical strategy and execution across the user journey, including onboarding, loan application, KYC, and loan acceptance flowsContribute technically, actively participating in technical design, implementation, and code reviewsManage project planning, execution, and delivery for the team's initiativesCollaborate with product, design, and marketing teams to develop and implement growth strategiesMonitor and improve application performance metricsRequired Qualifications2+ years of engineering management experience, with a track record of leading high-performing teams5+ years of software engineering experienceStrong technical background with experience in modern languages and frameworks such as React Native and Spring BootDemonstrated experience in data-driven decision making and A/B testing methodologiesExperience managing the full software development lifecycle and agile methodologiesStrong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering complex projectsPreferred QualificationsExperience in both growth engineering (optimization, experimentation) and product developmentBackground in fintech or financial servicesExperience with user acquisition and conversion optimizationKnowledge of KYC processes and financial compliance requirementsHistory of partnering with marketing teams on growth initiativesWhat You'll Need to SucceedStrong analytical approach with the ability to make data-driven decisionsExcellence in cross-functional communication and stakeholder managementAbility to balance technical excellence with business impactPassion for user experience and product qualityStrong organizational and prioritization skillsWith the backing of our venture investors— Union Square Ventures, Canvas Ventures, Euclidean Capital, and Unlock Venture Partners — a dedicated following of hundreds of thousands of customers, and an extraordinary team, we are unwavering in our fight for financial fairness.
