JavaScript Web development Computer science Software development Show more Software Engineer Level I (AI & Agentic Systems) Location: US Remote Overview: As a Software Engineer Level I, you will support the development of modern software systems, including AI-powered applications. You’ll work closely with senior engineers to build and maintain full-stack components, contribute to AI agent development, and grow your skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the development and maintenance of software components, including backend and frontend features Collaborate with senior engineers to implement AI-based agents and integrate LLM APIs Participate in the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews Troubleshoot and debug issues in development and staging environments Learn and apply best practices in software engineering, version control, and containerized environments Research and experiment with new tools and technologies under guidance Skills: Basic understanding of programming principles and object-oriented design Familiarity with Python (required); experience with JavaScript/TypeScript or web development is a plus Exposure to or interest in AI technologies, especially LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude) or agentic systems is a plus Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic frontend concepts is helpful Familiarity with Git or other version control systems Strong problem-solving and learning mindset Ability to work independently with guidance and collaborate effectively in a remote team Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or currently pursuing one 1+ years of professional software development experience Any academic, personal, or internship experience with AI/ML or LLMs is a plus Desired Traits: Curious, proactive, and eager to grow.
