📋 Description
• The Arena Group is seeking a Software Engineer with experience working in WordPress internals to join its best-in-class, fast growing publishing technology platform.
• In this role, you’ll work with a diverse team of top-notch engineers, designers, and product managers.
• You’ll build new capabilities to our headless WordPress publishing platform and watch them be used by millions of users.
• You’ll also have the ability to learn or further develop your skills in areas such as microservice architecture, data analytics, API design, and AI.

🎯 Requirements
• Experience working with the internals of the WordPress CMS (extending Taxonomies, optimizing queries, connecting new data sources, stretching Gutenberg to meet new editorial workflows, etc.)
• 4+ years of proven expertise building web applications professionally and working comfortably with all layers of the application stack, from infrastructure to front-end.
• Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, programming languages, systems, and information retrieval.
• Proficiency in writing scalable, testable, and maintainable code
• The ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Experience working on a microservice architecture is a plus
