About the Role: Software Engineer - Summer Internship
• As a Software Engineer Intern at Bits, you'll dive deep into the world of software development, gaining hands-on experience alongside seasoned professionals.
• This internship is not only about learning; it's about contributing to real projects that impact our users daily.
• You'll be working closely with our engineering team, helping to build and maintain our systems while learning the ins and outs of the fintech space.
• This internship is perfect for someone who is entrepreneurial, thrives in a dynamic environment, and is excited about working closely with a founder on high-impact tasks.
• The In-Term Internships for Fall/Spring, is roughly 10-15 hours a week.

🎯 Requirements
Requirements - You will be an ideal candidate if you:
• Are currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Have a basic understanding of programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript.
• Possess familiarity with web development concepts, including HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
• Have experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Are eager to learn about backend technologies and APIs.
• Have strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to tackle new challenges.
• Are a team player with good communication skills.
• Have a proactive attitude and a desire to contribute meaningfully to the team.

Desired Extras:
• Experience with any backend frameworks such as Node.js and Typescript.
• Familiarity with cloud service platforms (AWS, etc.).
• Understanding of database concepts and basic SQL.
• Prior internship or project experience in software development.
