📋 Description

• We're seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to help champion quality across the stack and throughout the SDLC.
• You'll work cross-functionally to promote testing best practices throughout the entire testing pyramid.
• Help teams build reliable unit, integration, and E2E tests.
• Take ownership of building and scaling automated test suites using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Be a key voice in both shift-level (early, embedded testing) and shift-right (Observability, testing in production, user behavior, validation) quality strategies.

🎯 Requirements
• 3+ years in an SDET, QA Automation, or Software Engineering role with a strong focus on testing.
• Solid experience with TypeScript and PlayWright (or similar browser automation frameworks).
• Strong understanding of testing across the pyramid: unit, component, integration, E2E.
• Experience with AWS and cloud-native application architectures.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test integration with tools like GitLab, GitHub Actions, or similar.
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across disciplines.
• Nice to Have: Experience with contract testing, mocking strategies, and service virtualization.
• Familiarity with shift-right testing practices, such as synthetic monitoring, canary releases, A/B testing, or chaos testing.
• Familiarity with tools for performance testing, observability, or synthetic monitoring (e.g., Elastic, k6, Datadog).
• Understanding of feature flagging and progressive delivery workflows.
