Software Developer Responsibilities and Duties: Perform individual tasks defined in project plans and customer requests supporting the application. Respond to customer inquiries and support requests within established Service Level Metrics (SLM) and Service Level Assignment (SLA) timelines. Provide day-to-day project execution, including schedule of individual projects assigned by the government. Respond to Government Taskers regarding site configuration, server configuration. Participate in migration of Oracle Weblogic Application Server to Military and Government Azure Environments. Using Java, maintain the COPA application to support the DLA Aviation reporting needs. Utilize Axe Monitoring tools and to code to Section 508 compliance standards. Preferred experience with Source Control tools such as GIT. Take steps to incorporate the new software versions into Application environment. Support access control by consulting with Accounts Management and Provisioning System (AMPS) administrators to develop necessary replacement application for provisioning and segregation of duty. Participate in DLA change and configuration management processes by collecting and preparing customer requirements for review. Review, analyze, test, and implement requests as required to support sustainment to COPA and coordinate with all relevant parties to include Project Manager, Functional Team and Database Administrators. Present informal/formal briefings as required to provide project status Attend and participate in periodic DLA Aviation and J6 Information Operations status meetings. Inform and address concerns that will affect progress and/or completion to the COR immediately when known providing all historical information. Act as a back-up to the Project Manager as needed. Respond to Government Taskers regarding site and/or server configuration. Required Qualifications Possesses a certification meeting the DOD 8570.01 IAT Level II upon assignment. (GSEC, Security+CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security) Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local AgencyCheck and Credit Check (NACLC) at time of proposal submission. Five (5) years of progressive experience in the field of Information Technology, which are specialized in numerous specialized Information Technology disciplines involving a range of hardware/software solutions, four of which are concentrated, hand-on experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with various software identified below. Two (2) years of experience working with IA Controls DODI 8500.2 or NIST SP 800-53 and understands the principles of the Risk Management Framework (RMF). Acceptable Computing Environment certification upon assignment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving security issues Understanding of eMASS, ArcSight, Splunk, and CyberSwat Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving security issues Strong skills managing, implementing, and configuring Firewall Rules. Working knowledge of: All facets of Oracle WebLogic Application Server (Monitor, update configurations, patch, etc.) Oracle Application Security Development STIG Oracle WebLogic applications and deployments Oracle BI Platform Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Operating System on virtual servers Development using Java based toolsets Data Visualization software – Qlik, and SAS Extract, Transform, Load Activities Tools to support the application such as JDeveloper, SQL Developer or TOAD and Eclipse Client Webinspect scans, remediation, and related POA&M process PL/SQL as it related to Java based applications Development of threat models to improve cyber security Provide direction, guidance, and technical support to the application users. Provide support of mission-critical Oracle databases and DLA Application Web Site Must be proficient in Java, WebLogic configurations, Linux Shell scripting, C#, HTML/JavaScript Understand Section 508 requirements and ability to code to them Proficient use of Axe Monitoring tools or other Section 508 validation tools Demonstrated ability to extract files and prepare it for data loading into database. Analyze, procedures, and Unix Shell scripts to be used in supporting related applications. Understanding of Application Log auditing and collection with automated tools such as ArcSight or Splunk Understanding of CyberSwat and related RMF Documentation (Associated RMF Controls, ACAS Scans, etc) Understanding of providing direction, guidance, and technical support to the application users. Experience with patching/updating of all elements of supported (application/developer tools) software Working knowledge and experience with design tools such as Visio.
