We’re looking for a hands-on Software Developer in Test (SDET) to join our growing QA team supporting Connect—Lineage’s next-generation WMS platform. This role will play a key part in shaping and scaling our automation capabilities across UI and API and Database layers, while also contributing to manual testing efforts as we build out our frameworks.You’ll be embedded directly with our engineering team, working closely with developers to identify defects early, establish testing standards, and contribute to a culture of quality across the stack.What You’ll DoDesign, implement, and maintain automation frameworks for UI (React/React Native), API (Node.js) and database backend components.Create and execute test cases for stored procedures, database functions to validate business logic and data consistency.Partner with developers to help them create effective unit and integration tests.Provide guidance on automation strategy, tooling, and best practices.Begin to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable pre-merge validations.Document and troubleshoot bugs; contribute to efforts that reduce production incidents.Learn and understand our custom-built WMS platform (Connect Plus), gaining knowledge of how it integrates with other components like WCS, APIs, and data services.What We’re Looking ForMust-Haves:5+ years of hands-on experience in QA automation across web, mobile, and APIsStrong experience with frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or AppiumSkilled in API automation tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured, or similar)Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or PythonFamiliarity with React, React Native, and Node.js environmentsSolid SQL skills and understanding of legacy database testingExperience with Git and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelinesAlignment to EST or CST time zone to effectively collaborate with EU teamsNice-to-Haves:Experience in supply chain or logistics, especially in warehouse automationExposure to performance testing (e.g., JMeter)Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes and test containerizationExperience with test strategy in early-stage automation environmentsWhy This Role MattersSuccess in this role means:- Fewer bugs in production- Faster feedback cycles for developers- A robust test automation foundation that evolves with the platform- Direct influence on the quality culture of a mission-critical productPlease note: We are unable to sponsor work authorization now or in the future for this role. #LI-RemoteWhy Lineage?This is an excellent position to begin your career path within Lineage!
