In accordance with pay transparency laws and regulations, the following good faith compensation range estimate is being provided. The salary range for this position is $160,000- $200,000 per year. Final compensation will be based on candidate qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law. Requirements: Qualifications Knowledge and Experience: 6+ years of professional experience building and scaling modern web applications and distributed systems Proven track record of technical leadership on complex projects or systems Expertise in backend development using a modern framework such as Django, Rails, or similar Experience working across the stack, with the ability to contribute meaningfully to frontend development (React or equivalent) Strong systems design and architectural skills, with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability Deep understanding of APIs, data modeling, asynchronous workflows, and service-oriented architecture Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP acceptable), infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD pipelines Excellent communication skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and technical decision-making Preferred Knowledge: Experience integrating with insurance platforms, financial systems, or similar enterprise-grade solutions. Familiarity with our tech stack – Azure, Django, React, Celery, Terraform. Experience with workflows that coordinate many third-party integrations Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools to streamline integration testing.
