The ideal candidate will bring excellent hands-on Varicent development skills, the ability and willingness to support operational activities, as well as strong communication, organizational and time management skills. Roles and Responsibilities: Varicent Expertise: Leverage your experience with Varicent modules including Composer, Portal Access, QueryTool, and Presenter to optimize and support KPMG's Advisory variable compensation processes. Data Integration & Process Development: Develop and manage import processes (intra-model & query function), workflows, calculation logic, reports, and web forms, ensuring seamless integration within Varicent. Technical Proficiency: Command expertise with relational and dimensional databases and programming concepts; exhibit strong SQL query skills. Documentation & Planning: Create detailed requirement documents, technical specifications, unit test plans, estimation documents, and architectural roadmaps. Problem Solving: Efficiently diagnose and resolve issues in existing Varicent code and configurations, ensuring minimal disruption to compensation processes. Communication: Simplify technical processes and terms, making them accessible to colleagues without a technical background. Business Acumen: Understand sales compensation business processes, providing insights that support the client-centric goals of KPMG's Advisory practice. Project Management: Drive IT methodologies including ITIL, SDLC, and Agile Development; spearhead strategies for global systems rollout, vendor selection, and implementation planning. Leadership: Direct delivery by coordinating with senior leadership and ensuring excellence and integrity in all deliverables while managing the risks proactively. Required Experience: At least 5+ years in designing, developing, and maintaining Incentive Compensation Management models and reports, including at least two full lifecycle implementations. At least 5+ Experience in use of Varicent ICM modules (eg: Composer, Portal Access, Task Manager, QueryTool, and Presenter) At least 2+ years creating controls and documentation including technical specifications, estimation documents, and architectural documents. At least 2+ Years’ experience with building import (intra-model & query function) processes, workflow processes, calculation logic, reports and web forms Proven expertise in Sales Performance Management and Incentive Compensation Implementation, particularly within Varicent. Experience & Background: Ability to code proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Perl, Java, etc) Intermediate experience and knowledge of Relational-Dimensional Databases / SQL / programming concepts Intermediate to advanced experience with web technologies and design/ development of webforms; JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3, Responsive Web Design; Web-API, SOAP and RESTful Web Services Knowledge of ETL concepts and large volume data handling between systems Knowledge of mathematical calculations to summarize and aggregate large volumes of data Knowledge of BI / Reporting Tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy) Capability to manage and challenge senior stakeholders, with the skill to work cross-functionally. Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach, delivering results in both offshore and onshore environments. Demonstrated success in managing end-to-end delivery across digital solutions and customer experience initiatives.
