📋 Description
• Support a suite of applications providing document management, web-based data collection, publishing, and knowledge management
• Work independently designing and developing new software products or major enhancements to existing software
• Act as highest-level technical expert, addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms
• Responsible for design and development of new software or extensive software revisions
• Define product requirements and create high-level architectural specifications ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems/platforms
• Write, maintain, evaluate, and effectively communicate software engineering design documents and interface control documents (ICDs)
• Dictate design choices to software developers, including platforms, coding and technical levels
• Gain a complete understanding of needs and effectively communicate them to the software design team
• May lead a large development team in design of highly complex software systems and responsible for project completion
• Perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management

🎯 Requirements
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience
• 10 - 15 years of experience
• Expertise in Ruby on Rails
• Expertise in .NET
• Expertise in Java
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as EXTJS
• Experience with publishing tools including XSLT and XSL/FO
• Ability to work independently designing and developing new software products or major enhancements
• Experience addressing systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms
• Experience writing and communicating software engineering design documents and interface control documents (ICDs)
• Experience leading large development teams and designing highly complex software systems
• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Sitting for long periods
