Piper Companies is seeking a Remote Senior Software Engineer to join a global digital advertising organization. This engineer will play a key role in designing and deploying scalable, cloud-based solutions that detect and neutralize web-based threats in real time.


Responsibilities of the Senior Software Engineer include:

Design, develop, and deploy robust, internet-scale software solutions in a cloud environment.
Contribute to architectural design and lead initiatives to reduce technical debt and improve system performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and integrate security solutions seamlessly.
Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure high-quality code delivery.
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers to promote best practices.
Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Analyze and solve complex technical problems related to web security and data protection.
Stay current with emerging technologies and threats in the digital advertising and cybersecurity space.
Qualifications for the Senior Software Engineer include:

10+ years of experience developing scalable software applications.
5+ years of experience with JavaScript, Node.js, CSS, and related frameworks.
Strong experience with AWS services such as Lambda, Kinesis, S3, Athena, and RDS.
Proven ability to build and optimize applications handling large datasets.
Experience with one or more of the following: PHP, Python, React, VueJS.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
Compensation for the Senior Software Engineer includes:

Salary: $140,000 – $160,000
Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave, and Paid Holidays
