📋 Description
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Management, Design, and Data Science) to design, develop, and implement high-quality features across the entire software stack front end and back end.
• Drive technical decisions around data modeling, API design, and technology selection across our AWS-native architecture.
• Lead the design and implementation of robust microservices using Java and Spring Boot to power our analytics applications.
• Build responsive, data-rich frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript, focusing on data intelligence and analytics dashboards.
• Develop and optimize database schemas and queries for AWS RDS (MySQL/Postgres) and Elastic Cloud.
• Research and recommend technical improvements that enhance our analytics capabilities and product features.
• Participate in technical planning and contribute to our engineering culture and development processes.

🎯 Requirements
• 6+ years developing production applications using Java, Spring frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring MVC)
• Strong proficiency in Angular and TypeScript with experience in modern front-end tooling for building complex, data-driven UX
• Strong API design skills with RESTful principles, OpenAPI/Swagger documentation, and secure authentication flows
• AWS ecosystem expertise: S3, Lambda, SAM, RDS (MySQL/PostgreSQL), Elastic Cloud, IAM, and CloudFormation
• Database design and optimization experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL for analytics and reporting applications
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures using AWS Lambda, SQS, and SNS
• Ability to lead complex architectural decisions and technical investigations and effectively communicate trade-offs to both technical and business stakeholders
• Take ownership of features from conception to deployment, working autonomously across teams to deliver impactful solutions that drive business outcomes
