What has been a “sleepy” industry for decades is now at the epicenter of sustaining the global economy.About the role:Mytra’s Software team is looking for a senior software engineer to develop and scale the core platforms that enable the development of the system. In this role you will work cross-functionally with software and firmware engineers to develop tooling and core infrastructure to enable stable development pipelines . Our team is focused on development of functional, reliable, and performant software.Responsibilities:Lead and mentor the development of system validation tooling in pythonDevelop core infrastructure to enable software-in-the-loop testing & system simulationDevelop automated tests to ensure high-quality software releases and accurate functionalityWork closely with cross-functional partners in robotics and infrastructureDeliver high-quality code in a variety of on-premises and cloud environmentsDesign, implement, test, and document softwareWear many hats - jump between all components in the Mytra software stack and contribute where neededQualifications:Strong experience with PythonExperience in Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerized frameworksExperience developing highly available, high reliability systemsFamiliarity with REST APIs and backend development of web serversFamiliarity with unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, functional testing, etc.Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skillsSense of ownership and a collaborative approach to developing software within a teamIterative approach to software developmentDesire to continue learning and growingGit experienceA Final Note:You’re encouraged to apply even if you can’t take on every example project in its totality.
