We create spaces to empower everyone to speak up, make change, and drive the culture at AHEAD.  We are an equal opportunity employer, and do not discriminate based on an individual's race, national origin, color, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, marital status, or any other protected characteristic under applicable law, whether actual or perceived.  We embrace all candidates that will contribute to the diversification and enrichment of ideas and perspectives at AHEAD.  The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day handling of escalations related to incidents, projects or requests of our managed services customer's environments. Our Senior Network Engineers are a valued member of the Managed Services Infrastructure Practice – Network and Voice Services team responsible for providing subject matter expertise incident management, service request management and change management infrastructure support for all Managed Services customers.   Responsibilities Manage and maintain customer Network infrastructure  Communicate, internally and externally, the status of the incident ticket/service request directly with the customer or broadcast to a larger audience as defined per SLA.  Possess the ability to track time worked wit a degree of accuracy  Perform baseline network administration including, but not limited to MACDs related to firewall, routing, switching, IPSEC, VPCs, SD-WAN, Load Balancer, Authentication servers (ISE TACACS+, SAML) solutions  Must possess a working knowledge of APIC / ACI   Perform baseline administration of Amazon Web Services VPCs, CIDR management – similar Microsoft Azure Technologies, GPC  Perform incident management on wide variety of issues impacting Network infrastructure or that are result of failure in its operation  Performs adds, moves, and changes on Network infrastructure within expected SLAs  Execute Network routine and emergency infrastructure maintenance processes as required by customer  Perform troubleshooting with carriers and vendors regarding network hardware and circuit issues, order and coordinate RMA of devices remotely  Actively contribute to the configuration, layout and performance tuning of the managed Network and Collaboration infrastructure  Build and maintain documentation for customer Network infrastructure  Perform periodic review of customer Network infrastructure, completing documentation and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities  Provide support and cross-training to team members on managed solutions to ensure resilient support model  Manage service requests ensuring adherence to SLAs  Assist with cross training of other Tier 2 team members as needed  Other duties as assigned  Qualifications 12+ years of experience with operational administration of Network Infrastructure  9+ years working with monitoring platforms; LogicMonitor a plus  6+ years of experience with operational administration of Cisco Infrastructure  6+ years of experience with operational administration of Palo Alto Infrastructure  4+ years of experience with operational administration of NetScaler Infrastructure  Experience with GlobalProtect, AnyConnect, FortiClient  Advanced experience with Cisco ISE, BGP/EIGRP/OSPF, FMC + FTD/ASA  Background with enterprise Routing and Switching technologies  Knowledge and experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols  Experience with more than two enterprise LAN, SD-WAN and WAN topologies  Strong background with operational administration of Network Management Systems and IPAM  Excellent leadership and mentoring skills  High level problem-solving and communication skills  Strong oral and written communications skills  Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience  CCNA - Required  PCNSA - Bonus  CCNP Enterprise - Bonus  CCNP Security - Bonus  $160,000 - $190,000 a year Why AHEAD: Through our daily work and internal groups like Moving Women AHEAD and RISE AHEAD, we value and benefit from diversity of people, ideas, experience, and everything in between.
