Job Description: RoleWho you areWe're looking for a product-minded Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of the deskbird hybrid workplace experience platformWhile strong frontend expertise is essential, this position is ideal for someone who enjoys working across the entire stack from crafting seamless user interfaces to designing robust, scalable backend services5+ years of experience in full-stack web development, with emphasis on frontend engineering (Angular, TypeScript, RxJS)The ability to convert beautiful designs into high quality codeExperience with reusable components, design systems, and/or storybookAt least basic backend development skills with Node.js and REST APIsStrong understanding of frontend performance optimisation, accessibility, and modern web architecture best practicesA good understanding of the latest developments in AI code generation and experience using the state of the art (e.g., Github Copilot, ideally Cursor or Windsurf)Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with fluency in EnglishDesirableDegree in Computer Science or a related fieldExperience with CI/CD pipelines, ideally GitHub ActionsKnowledge of monorepos (Nx)Experience with GCP and/or Firebase (big plus)What the job involvesIn this role, you’ll be part of a cross-functional squad, designing, building, and delivering features end-to-end for our core productContribute significantly to the deskbird platform, currently serving 150,000+ users by ensuring a scalable, maintainable, and high-performance codebaseTake full ownership of features from conception to deployment, working across the frontend and backend, with an emphasis on building exceptional user interfacesCoach and review the work of other developers focused on the frontendCollaborate with backend engineers to design and integrate APIs, ensuring an efficient data flow between frontend and backend services.
