• Steer began as an online directory for drivers to find a local mechanic.
• Fast forward to today, Steer has launched a complete Customer Relationship Management (CRM) marketing suite, complete with text messaging, email automation, direct mail integration, reputation management, appointment reminders, declined/recommended services, and many other features.

• In August 2024 Steer acquired AutoOps - the leader in modern, intelligent, and fully integrated scheduling software for auto repair shops.
• AutoOps allows customers to smoothly schedule through a shop's website and Google Business Profile.
• We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to develop new products that expand Steers portfolio of technical solutions for the auto repair industry.
• You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable, and secure web applications that both form the core and expand our CRM business.

🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of professional development experience in a web-based SaaS role.
• Deep understanding and RESTful APIs and n-tier web applications.
• Proven experience with at least one major back-end language and framework (e.g., C#/.Net, Node.js/Express, Python/Django/Flask, Ruby on Rails).
• Hands-on experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and familiarity with their core services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Azure App Services).
• Proficiency with a modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and its ecosystem.
• Proven experience designing and implementing scalable and maintainable architecture.
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis). Ability to design efficient schemas, inspect and optimize ORM generated queries, and manage data migrations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and mentor other engineers.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Previous experience in a lead or mentoring role.
• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes).
