You are a living example of the company's values.   Responsibilities: ·         Lead the design and development of full-stack software applications in support of the COSMOS program. ·         Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and security standards. ·         Drive the adoption of modern development practices and technologies in the development process. ·         Design, implement, and manage microservices architecture within AWS, ensuring scalability and performance. ·         Lead the integration of various APIs and cloud services, including but not limited to AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and commercial tool offerings. ·         Ensure that all software components are fully integrated into the DevSecOps pipeline for continuous testing, security checks, and deployment. ·         Implement secure coding practices and mitigate software vulnerabilities across all stages of the software lifecycle. ·         Oversee the management of database schemas and definitions for APIs using tools like Swagger/OpenAPI. ·         Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure high-quality software releases. ·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project goals, tasks, and deadlines in a fast-paced, agile environment. ·         Provide documentation and reports for the system architecture, API definitions, and other technical aspects of the software. ·         Ensure compliance with DoD Cloud Native Access Point and zero trust security requirements, integrating solutions such as Secure Access Service Edge (SASE). ·         Liaise with security teams to manage the integration with Cybersecurity Service Providers (CSSP) for threat detection and incident response.   Qualifications: Clearance: Active Secret Clearance (required). Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Experience: ·         7+ years of professional experience in software development with significant full-stack development experience. ·         Expertise in front-end technologies (React, TypeScript, JavaScript) and back-end technologies (Node.js, REST APIs). ·         Extensive experience with AWS, including AWS Lambda, S3, API Gateway, and serverless architecture. ·         Proven experience with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks. ·         In-depth knowledge of database design and integration, particularly with PostgreSQL and Amazon Aurora. ·         Experience in building secure software applications adhering to DoD and NIST security standards, with a focus on zero trust security models. ·         Hands-on experience with hybrid cloud architectures and integrating with commercial tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Netskope, Wiz, RegScale). ·         Experience in leading teams and mentoring junior developers. ·         Strong familiarity with the DoD and NIST security frameworks and integration of CSSP solutions.
