Job Description: Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain a high-performance, feature-rich React /TypeScript frontend
Implement complex functionalities and processing capabilities within the frontend, ensuring a seamless user experience
Work on projects from conception to completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables
Work up and down the stack, including working with the API/Database layer as well as edge deployed software
Optimize the frontend for performance, scalability, and reliability
Work with the complexities of high quality and high performance video systems and the realities of the internet
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including ML and Backend Engineers, to integrate AI modules or other algorithms with specific requirements and constraints
Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the Iris Platform
Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and best practices, and incorporate them into the application as appropriate
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Senior Frontend Engineer, with a strong track record of delivering complex, high-performance SPAs
Deep expertise in React and its ecosystem, including state management libraries
Experience optimizing frontend performance and implementing best practices for scalability
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively when faced with technical challenges
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote team environment
Passion for creating exceptional user experiences and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable code
Familiarity with WebRTC, WebAssembly, and WebGPU is a plus, comfort in working with all three is a must

$130,000 - $195,000 a year
