📋 Description
• Build a world-class marketplace: Whether it’s an AI, Google crawler, or direct customer, we want to make it dead simple to find what to automate next using Zapier.
• Personalize the customer journey: Leverage our expanded dataset of customer data to personalize the customer journey using LLMs and ML technologies so that customers know what to build next without having to think.
• Collaborate with Product and Design Teams: Work in unison with our product, design, and UX teams to envisage and develop products with intuitive user experiences, making the interconnection of diverse apps seamless.
• Craft Frontend UIs: Design visually appealing and highly performant user interfaces that resonate with our user base.
• Monitor System Health: Regularly check system reliability and performance, ensuring high availability and optimal user experience.
• Resolve Bugs and Address Feature Requests: Dive deep into any reported issues, ensuring they're resolved promptly, and constantly look for areas of improvement based on user feedback.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Engage with various teams and stakeholders throughout Zapier, bringing value to our customers in innovative ways.

🎯 Requirements
• You have 6+ years of experience with a minimum of 2 years at a senior level.
• You've dedicated at least 4 of those years to crafting and refining web-based software products.
• You’re a Frontend engineer with a passion for building scalable systems for high-traffic websites.
• Deep experience with Next.js, React, and TypeScript, with a track record of delivering high-quality front-end experiences at scale.
• Experience building high-traffic, performance-sensitive web applications, especially for consumer-facing merchandising or content discovery surfaces. Bonus if this were in SaaS.
• You have experience using Algolia or other search providers to build programmatic merchandising.
• Your work has been seen and scrutinized by customers, execs, and marketing, and you’ve learned to balance feedback, performance, and polish.
• You partner naturally with product, design, and marketing. You give thoughtful feedback, build trust, and challenge decisions constructively.
• You’re fluent in OpenAPI and/or GraphQL, and you regularly shape how front-ends interact with data models, APIs, and orchestration engines.
• You’ve experimented with tools like Copilot, V0.dev, or OpenAI APIs. You’re not intimidated by the AI space—you’re excited to shape how it meets users.
• Experience with performance and observability tools such as Datadog, New Relic, or Lighthouse for identifying and addressing bottlenecks.
