WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGEvolving and sustaining the Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Infrastructure for our DOD customerDeveloping Infrastructure as Code with tools such as Ansible, Powershell Desired State Configuration (DSC) and Terraform to solve deployment problems for diverse environmentsProvide subject matter expertise on infrastructure components, to include assistance with maintenance, configuration, and integrationHelp users configure and integrate DevSecOps tools (such as Git, Artifactory, Jenkins, Scanning) to enable seamless user experienceWork on integration of tools to enable seamless user experienceTest out emerging technologies for possible integrationSupport the development environment of cutting-edge military and national defense related applications on various DEVOPS and cloud / big data environmentsWHAT YOU HAVE DONEBS in Computer Science, equivalent degree, or previous work experience5+ experience in Windows Workstation and Server administration supporting development and production deployment/configurationKnowledgeable about automating system configurations and orchestrating DevOps pipelines including scaling, releasing, and day-to-day system operationsExperience and fundamental knowledge of the concepts of CI/CDExperience with Powershell Desired State Configuration (DSC), Puppet, or ChefExperience working with InstallShield or similar installation packaging solutionExperience with scripting languages, in particular Python experienceExperience with multiple virtualization hypervisors, to include KVM and ESXiExperience with AWS / Azure deploymentsExperience in a deploying systems and software distributed environmentExperience with micro-services and microservices architecturesExperience with Agile software development methodologies and practicesExperience managing software source code repositories such as GitEVEN BETTERExperience with some of the following: Python, Docker/Kubernetes, Jenkins, Artifactory, Maven, Gradle, Ansible, PowershellExperience with cloud and virtualization technologies, in particular: KVM, VMware, AWSExperience creating secure systems and CI/CD pipelines.Possess exceptional oral and written communications skills and ability to work independently, with minimal direction; self-motivated and results-focusedCurious learner; researcherAble to assist software developers using the DevOps pipelineAt RII, we believe that diversity in our workforce is critical to our success.
