To find out more, visit https://www.teachersoftomorrow.org Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Senior Database Engineer with expertise in the Microsoft technology stack, including SQL Server, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Dataflows, Logic Apps, and Data Analysis. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and optimize data solutions that drive business intelligence and automation. Key Responsibilities/Duties: Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability and performance. Work with Microsoft Fabric to integrate and streamline data solutions. Develop ETL/ELT processes using Dataflows and Azure Data Factory. Create Power BI dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making. Implement automation solutions using Logic Apps and Power Automate. Conduct data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and insights. Ensure database security, backups, and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with data analysts, business stakeholders, and software engineers to enhance data infrastructure. Gather user requirements and identify new features Develop technical and training manuals Drive data management and governance across organization Research and suggest new database products, services and protocols Configure and Deploy Cloud Services as needed in Azure Provide after-hours support as needed and other related duties as assigned Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 5+ years of experience working with Azure SQL Server 3+ years of experience with Power BI and Dataflows. Proficiency in Azure Logic Apps and cloud-based automation. Strong understanding of data modeling, performance tuning, and indexing Experience in integrating data from multiple sources, including APIs and cloud storage. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Dataverse. Familiarity with Python or PowerShell for automation. Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD for data pipelines. Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate, Power BI Certification). Experience with Data Warehousing and Data Science.
