📋 Description
• Healthrise is seeking a hands-on Senior Data Engineer who will work closely with healthcare product owners, consultants, and technologies to design and deliver innovative enterprise software solutions.
• This position is responsible for the architecture, development, and optimization of data ingestion pipelines, transformation processes, and delivery layers that power our analytics and applications.
• The ideal candidate has experience in healthcare data and modern cloud-based technologies (Databricks, Azure Data Factory, SQL, Python) and thrives in an agile, collaborative environment.
• Environment: Microsoft technology stack and Azure services
• Agile/Scrum development methodology
• Core tools include Azure DevOps, Git, Jira, ADF, Databricks, and SQL Server

🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, ideally in a healthcare or enterprise data environment, which includes designing ETL pipelines and managing large-scale data systems
• Advanced proficiency in Databricks, SQL, Azure Data Factory, and Python
• Deep experience with modern data stack tools (e.g., Databricks, Azure Data Factory, dbt)
• Familiarity with healthcare data formats and domains (e.g. HL7, X12 files such as 835/837)
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts
• Hands-on experience working in a cloud environment (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP acceptable)
• Excellent communication skills and a strong track record of cross-functional collaboration
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
