📋 Description
• Build the foundation of the Bamboo Health platform with product and engineering teams
• Own our database platforms, ensuring teams are equipped for performance and efficiency
• Diagnose, resolve, and prevent recurrences of production issues
• Optimize current solutions with a focus on cost, reliability, and performance
• Quickly triage and resolve production situations as they arise
• Evaluate new software and service offerings against the current platform vision
• Work with our security team to continuously ensure our platform’s compliance with HITRUST and other standards

🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of software development or operations experience
• Experience working with a public cloud such as AWS, Google Cloud, or similar
• Experience with Amazon Aurora or similar managed cloud RDBMSes
• Knowledge of a common scripting language such as Python, Ruby, etc
• Experience working in Terraform, CloudFormation, or other infrastructure as code systems
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and MySQL database management systems
• Experience working in an agile delivery environment
• Self-starter with an ability to solve problems with little or no direction and a passion for driving change
• Strong leadership skills to mentor and assist less experienced team members
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of judgment and creativity in designing innovative solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly evolving environments.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment, ensuring high-quality virtual interactions with minimal distractions.
• The ability to travel periodically or frequently for work.
