📋 Description
•Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and core API services using Python, Django, and FastAPI
•Support modernization efforts from a legacy Django MVC architecture to an API-first approach
•Optimize application performance and scalability
•Design and implement data models and relational database schemas (MySQL)
•Collaborate with frontend teams to define API contracts
•Write clean, well-documented, and testable code; participate in code reviews
•Troubleshoot and resolve production issues; collaborate with operations for stability
•Participate in on-call rotation (future requirement)
•Work with product managers and customers to understand needs and translate them into technical solutions
•Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge within the team

🎯 Requirements
•5+ years of backend development experience with Python, including Django and FastAPI
•Strong understanding of RESTful API design and best practices
•Proficient in SQL with experience using relational databases like MySQL
•Experience with asynchronous programming and task queues (e.g., Celery)
•Strong problem-solving skills; able to work both independently and collaboratively
•Comfortable in B2B SaaS and customer-facing environments
•Understanding of Agile development and team facilitation
