📋 Description
• Flashbots is searching for senior backend engineers for our team focused on rollups.
• In this role you'll work on foundational infra for leadings rollups, tackle complex technical challenges where each millisecond matters, and work with industry leading experts across scaling, MEV, and DeFi.
• Your contributions will shape flagship products like Flashblocks and BuilderNet while driving forward essential open-source innovations.
• Lead the development of flagship products and features for rollups.
• Work closely with product, engineering, data, and research teams to do everything from designing to operating cutting-edge crypto infrastructure.
• Push the boundaries for performance for rollups; optimizing for each millisecond to get the most economic activity per second.
• Contribute to open source projects, whether that's our own or close partner's.

🎯 Requirements
• 4-10 years of experience with production systems.
• You have strong skills in Rust or Go. Bonus points if you’ve dabbled in execution layer/node projects like Geth or Reth.
• Whether you’re working independently or leading a cross-functional team, you have exceptional communication and coordination skills.
• You’ve made meaningful contributions to the Ethereum ecosystem. If you have any, send example PRs or commits to robert@flashbots.net to have your application prioritized.
• Experience with Ethereum, Geth, or other Ethereum clients
• Alternatively: adjacent infrastructure (e.g., indexers or p2p overlays).
• Worked with Solidity or other smart contract languages.
• You have contributed to open-source work/projects or participate in public technical discourse, such as contributing to protocol specifications.
