You want to lead projects from a data engineering perspective and partnering to model appropriate data landscapes with our business partners.  This position will apply advanced analytical & analysis techniques to a variety of business issues to drive value-based insights to meet cross-enterprise business strategies. This Senior position will proactively drive identifying, managing, and understanding the business challenges and opportunities faced by various business units including internal and external business functions and translate the business needs to technical needs. Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage activities related to detailed requirements gathering, documentation and problem solving associated with complex, enterprise projects and issuesTranslate business requirements and document technical specificationsServe as liaison to business leaders on behalf of Enterprise BI & Analytics, managing expectations and ensuring BI solutions are meeting the needs of assigned projects while being SOX compliantOwn end-to-end complex data analysis and driving new/best practicesSize and scope development needs for complex business and technical project initiativesAccurately identify and assess problems by asking the right questions of the right people Use advanced analytical problem-solving techniques to resolve issues and questions Define, retrieve, and analyze large datasets using SQL, Excel and other tools as needed to drive and define reporting and analytical solutions and approaches Determine, coordinate, analyze and document business processesSupport and drive Enterprise Data Governance Best Practices with business partnersPresent findings to team members determining and communicating options, making recommendations and driving quick solutionsLead & manage user acceptance testing across business and other technical teamsWork with offshore & vendor partners as an extension of team in directing work and clarifying questionsWork closely with the BI Data Platform Team when building new data sets and data source integrations as necessary, driving collaboration and completionCollaborate with other teams to map data fields to prepare data for use in complex analytics/reportingAbility and desire to wear multiple hats -performing in multiple capacities (leadership, analysis, technical, visualization design, etc.)Proactively staying on top of technologies and bringing new technical solutions to the table to drive efficiencies and automation for team, processes and cost reductionsAll other tasks/functions as assigned by supervisorMinimum Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering or similar or associated work experience) required8+ years of hands-on functional and technical analysis (in EDW environment is ideal)5+ years developing, driving & performing complex QA3+ years driving complex projects to completionDemonstrated experience performing analysis on large, structured & unstructured complex datasetsAdvanced SQL skillsDemonstrated ability to explain complex analytical concepts to a non-technical audienceStrong intellectual curiosity: a willingness to ask questions and learn from othersProven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience & ability to wear multiple hats  Strong interpersonal skills – clear & timely communications, positive problem-solving perspectives, excellent written & verbal skills, communications at all levelsProven ability as an owner/leader within a collaborative teamA desire to be part of a team and working with others from diverse skill sets and backgroundsA deep personal motivation to always produce outstanding workExperience with Oracle EBS a plusExperience managing EDW projects a plus“Creating better together”.
