Senior Application Cloud Engineer

Location: Remote

Duration: 2 Year


SCOPE OF SERVICES:

TASKS:

Build automation scripts for AWS IaaS, PaaS, AKS, serverless, databases, secrets, and?Storage services.

Working to implement and support highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that provide solutions to solve business problems and accelerate the adoption of cloud services.

Drive requirements for integrating several cloud capabilities and scenarios such as service availability, quality, correlation of usage and charges, and cost-efficient solution architecture.

Deployment, configuration, and support of IaaS/PaaS components in AWS environments

Configuration and support of cloud security and policy components.

Developing cloud consumption targets for multi-tenant/hybrid cloud deployments.

Business Continuity and Disaster Recover design, planning and implementation for cloud environments.

Enablement and support of requisite insight and monitoring tools.


Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered.

At least 12 years of technology development and administration experience with at least 6 years hands-on implementation experience using Amazon Web Services.

A minimum 5 years of experience supporting and maintaining enterprise hybrid cloud environment.

Expert troubleshooting skillset.

Self-motivated, must be a proven team player.

Extensive knowledge of Cloud methodologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), automation, orchestration, cost frameworks, trends and industry-leading private/public/hybrid cloud vendor offerings and interoperability.

Hands on Experience in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.

Experience with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery design, planning and implementation. · Experience with and Azure DevOps Pipelines. · Ability to design / plan / execute automation of workflows.


DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Familiar with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.

Experience with Linux server administration.

Cloud based storage system administration.

Strong scripting skills in languages like Bash, Python, and PowerShell.

Experience in storage migrations in large complex enterprise storage environments
