About the role
About the role

We are looking for a React / Ionic developer who will join our engineering team to develop and maintain our 'native' apps (built on React and wrapped around Ionic's Cross-Platform Runtime Capacitor). You will also collaborate with other internal team members to support the mobile products of our company.
You should have significant experience in Ionic / Capacitor / Cordova plugins and web development experience to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment. We also expect you to be passionate about mobile platforms and translating code into user-friendly apps.
Note: Since we are a New York-based company the candidate will need to work during the EST zone, no exceptions.

What you'll do

Develop/Maintain our mobile apps writing clean code
Create and execute unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions
Support the entire application lifecycle, including concept, design, test, release, and support phases
Retrieve specific requirements and suggest solutions to improve user experience
Evaluate and debug mobile applications to optimize their performance
Work together with the Product Development team to plan new features
Oversee the compliance of our apps with established quality standards
Find and suggest new mobile products, applications, and protocols
Stay informed about new technology trends
What you'll need

3+ years' experience of working on a Web / Native App Development position
Published applications on the App Store or the Android market
Solid experience with Ionic and React, experience in Swift/Java is preferential, but not required
Good experience with React / Ionic / Capacitor's third-party libraries and APIs
Strong analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to perform well in a dynamic environment
Experience using both relational and non-relational databases
Preferential experience using Firebase / Google Cloud Platform / AWS
Nice to have

Experience in small, hyper-growth start-ups
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JS, Swift, Figma
Motion / Animation skills
