Job Description: QA Automation Engineer (Contract, 1099):  ~10–20 hours per weekThird and Grove is seeking a QA Automation Engineer passionate about delivering high-quality websites across multiple CMS platforms. This role combines hands-on automation with CMS-specific validation. The QA Automation Engineer acts as the technical QA lead, building scalable test frameworks, integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines, and validating functionality across browsers and devices.As a QA Automation Engineer at Third and Grove, you will:Design, implement, and maintain automated tests with PlaywrightWrite, document, and maintain TestRail test cases for manual + automated suitesValidate CMS websites (Drupal, WordPress) for front-end and authoring functionalityIntegrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps)Perform manual and exploratory testing as needed for new featuresLog, track, and validate bugs in JiraProvide detailed test reporting to project teamsYou might be who we’re looking for if:You have proven Playwright experience and strong JavaScript/TypeScript skillsYou’re proficient with TestRail or similar test management toolsYou’ve tested CMS platforms (Drupal, WordPress; Sitecore, Contentful or AEM a plus)You understand functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testingYou’ve worked in Agile workflows and can collaborate in multi-discipline teamsYou’re detail-oriented, analytical, and able to flag risks earlyYou have experience with accessibility testing and cross-browser/device validation
