The PO is responsible for driving the delivery of high-value capabilities for assigned products.The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with developers, designers, and stakeholders across business, legal/compliance, and operations to ensure that requirements and product design meet the needs of customers and internal teams.ResponsibilitiesOwn, prioritize, and maintain the development team’s product backlog, including defining epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteriaCollaborate with a cross-functional team of product managers, designers, business analysts, developers, testers, and other stakeholders to develop and execute product roadmaps and release plansServe as the subject matter expert for assigned productsReview, accept, and prioritize feedback and new requirements from stakeholdersBring new perspectives to continually improve the product and better serve our customersAnalyze data to inform product decisions and refine product strategy and roadmapBalance business needs with technical considerations and constraintsOversee creation and maintenance of user and technical documentationSupport customer-facing teams and help develop training and communication materialsProduce content that enables others to understand product functionality and changesRequirementsBachelor’s degree and 2+ years of product or project development experienceExperience driving projects involving customer-facing web technologies, including APIs, mobile-first design, and third-party integrationsExperience collaborating across teams such as Sales, Engineering, Operations, and MarketingExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and business audiencesStrong understanding of internet technologies and web-based software developmentFamiliarity with project management tools such as Asana, Jira, and ConfluenceKnowledge of SEO best practicesNice to HaveFamiliarity with SQL and data analysisExperience working on applications involving search, e-commerce, and/or large-scale data aggregationExperience with taxonomy design and/or data modelingExperience with web development technologies such as Git, AWS, Ruby on Rails, and ReactBackground in UI/UX with the ability to create wireframes and mockups
