Frontend Developer 1w I completed my Oracle OCI IC3 loop a little over two weeks ago and haven’t heard back yet. I also emailed the recruiter last week but got no response. For those familiar with OCI hiring: • Is this delay normal, or does silence usually indicate rejection? • If it’s a rejection, how long does Oracle typically take to notify candidates? • Can even “no” decisions take weeks? • Could a hiring freeze or internal slowdown be causing the delay? Any insights would be appreciated. 3 4 Comments works at Deloitte 1w How long might it take for a former Deloitte M&A IT consultant to find a job in KSA or Doha with 5 years experience at an SC level? I have 7 years at Oracle Health between local and US before Deloitte. I'm local to the region if that matters for context and open to govt roles as well as private industry; preferably health informatics at hospital. Where should I look for roles, and what sort of comp/month can I expect? Thanks in advance ME Fishes 2 2 Comments Quality Manager 1y I have a second and final round interview scheduled with a Principal software engineer for a position that requires 5 years of experience. I was curious how to prepare for the leetcode, do they ask easy or medium level questions? Will they still hire if you dont get the output for the leetcode?Oracle 4 1 Comment See what other Principal Site... are saying Interview Tips 789K members Salary Negotiations 765K members See more posts Company overview Size 10000+ Employees Founded 1977 Type Company - Public Industry Enterprise Software & Network Solutions Sector Information Technology Revenue $10+ billion (USD) Oracle ratings 3.6 68 % Recommend to a friend 61 % Approve of CEO Clay Magouyrk and Mike Sicilia 92 Ratings Career Opportunities 3.5 Comp & Benefits 3.3 Culture & Values 3.6 Senior Management 3.3 Work/Life Balance 3.9 Oracle reviews by devops engineer Pros "Good work life balance given so that you become lazy and settle down for less and compromise" (in 4638 reviews) "The benefits are good; it is nice to have access to the Oracle University classes." It does not match the first 6% of contributions, it only matches HALF of that (that is, only matches 3% of salary). And it limits matching to $5100/yr, regardless of employee contributions. Both are below industry norms. On the bright side, the funds offered in the 401(k) are diverse, and several have very low fees." Vacation & Paid Time Off(700 comments) "When I joined Oracle in 1994 from 10+ years at another tech company, I lost a week of vacation. At the other company we got 4 weeks after 10 years. At Oracle that doesn't exist, you never get to the point where you can accrue more than 3 weeks in a year's time. As others have mentioned, Oracle stole vacation from employees this year by mandating 5 days off. Someone mentioned the potential of unlimited time off. I saw that question on the survey about the mandatory vacation and what came to mind was the potential for abuse. And I don't blame any employee who takes full advantage of this company."
