Job Description: This pivotal position resides with one of our Talent Solutions client where we have established a strong partnership.Role: NetSuite DeveloperLocation: Los Angeles, California Status: MHI is a successful managed services partner and now assisting with their key direct hire needs Key Qualifications/Responsibilities:ResponsibilitiesSupport the data architecture for the ERP application as it relates to Supply Chain, Order Management, Finance, and AccountingIdentify opportunities to automate processes with scripted solutionsDesign, Build, Deliver and Maintain scripted solutions in version 2.0 and map/reducePerform technical design and code reviews to audit efficacy and alignment with business objectivesWork closely with Engineering and other Netsuite resources to deliver automation solutions using suite scriptStay ahead of regular Netsuite feature releases and functionality and provide recommendations to leverage new features for improvementsAdapt to changing priorities of the business and seek out ways to develop new skills both within Netsuite and outside of the applicationBalance multiple concurrent projects and competing prioritiesBuild and manage reports and dashboards where applicableMonitor ERP system performance and create alerting processes for business critical functionsMaintain critical integration points between critical applicationsLeverage third party hosting platforms to serve as accessory system tools and platformsWrite, Develop, Test, Deploy and Maintain micro-service applications with a lightweight code infrastructureMonitor all end-user system usage, track overall performance and execute administrative tasks as neededExecute ad-hoc data inquires using open-source toolsQuery different applications and platforms as needed via API calls, including: Website, Email Databases, and WMS applicationDesired Relative ExperienceExtensive hands-on experience with NetsuiteExperienced with SuiteScripts 1.0, 2.0 and map/reduceExtensive understanding of SuiteFlow, Suite Script, SuiteBuilder, WorkflowsFamiliar working with JavaScript, Node.js, SOAP, REST, XML, HTML and JSON formatsFamiliar with SDLC proceduresGeneral understanding of best practices and business process in Finance and AccountingBasic functional understanding of Netsuite modules, including: One World, Record to report, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Revenue Recognition, Advanced Inventory Management, Fixed Assets, and Multi-Book AccountingNetsuite certifications such as SuiteCloud Developer Cert and/or SuiteCommerce Developer Cert highly desired, but not requiredExperience with SuiteCommerce Advanced a plus (not required)Experience with serverless messaging and queuing tools such as Lambda’s and Publish/Subscribe highly desired, but not requiredRequirements2 – 4 Years experience writing scripted solutions in Netsuite1 – 2 Years experience with data architecture design between multiple applications2+ Years experience as a systems administratorProject Management, Systems Implementation, and Systems Integration experienceExtensive experience with SaaS platformsCritical thinking and problem solving skills
