About the role: We’re looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our growing R&D team at Snapsheet. This team is at the forefront of developing and delivering our new Snapsheet AI platform, which empowers customers to build and integrate AI features directly into their workflows. The platform is designed to be highly configurable, enabling users to create their own AI tools—such as summarization and smart audit features—embedded within the broader Snapsheet ecosystem. As a Lead Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in building both front-end and back-end features with a high standard of quality. You’ll be expected to contribute to architecture discussions, perform thorough code reviews, and deliver production-ready code. A major focus of this team includes working with large language models (LLMs)—both integrating and building on top of them—to power features like AI-driven chat interfaces for internal and external applications, and smart logic for auditing insurance estimates. This is an exciting opportunity to work on greenfield AI development within a product-driven environment, contributing to the technical foundation of Snapsheet’s next generation of intelligent insurance solutions. Compensation that Grows with You For this position, the base salary range is $155,000-175,000. While this range serves as a guideline, your actual compensation will reflect your unique experience, skill set, and location.
