📋 Description
• Play a pivotal role shaping clinical AI solutions for the Department of Veteran Affairs using Python.
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced AI and ML models and algorithms.
• Create AI solutions integrated into Department of Veteran Affairs software systems ensuring scalability, reliability, security, accessibility, and performance.
• Supervisory W2 role with responsibility to mentor engineers and interact with clients.
• Design and build machine learning models that achieve business objectives.
• Lead and mentor a team of AI engineers in developing cutting-edge AI applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX researchers/designers, and stakeholders to define AI project requirements.
• Research and evaluate new AI technologies and methodologies for implementation.
• Optimize AI models for performance and efficiency.
• Present technical concepts and project updates to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ensure best practices and coding standards are maintained throughout development.

🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or related fields.
• 10+ years of experience in full-stack engineering.
• Demonstrated experience in leading teams and managing AI projects.
• Strong knowledge of data science principles, algorithms, and statistical analysis.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for deploying AI models.
• Experience supervising team members and developing and conducting performance reviews.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a federal 'public trust' security clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar field; Master's Degree preferable.
