We are long crypto and play a leading role in bridging traditional finance and digital assets.The PositionWe’re looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join our engineering team and help build, maintain, and improve the pipelines and data products that power our crypto analytics platform. This is an ideal role for someone early in their career who’s excited about working with data, learning modern engineering best practices, and exploring the crypto ecosystem.We’re looking for strong fundamentals, curiosity, and a willingness to grow.This position is open to candidates in person in New York or remote within the United States.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with senior engineers to build and maintain APIs, scheduled jobs, data pipelines, and data monitors, and assist in identifying and triaging data-quality issues or pipeline failuresTransform raw blockchain and general purpose data into clean, structured datasets by writing and optimizing SQL queries (Snowflake/SingleStore) and assisting with schema design and data modeling for new data sourcesContribute to internal tools and automation workflows. Follow clean code practices and contribute to code reviewsAssist in writing, testing, and refining prompts for LLM-powered features, including developing prompt templates, and documenting prompt behavior, edge cases, and failure modesRequirementsKnowledge in Python, SQL, and database systemsCuriosity about blockchain, crypto, or Web3 in generalStrong communication and willingness to ask questionsFamiliarity with Github, PR workflows, and version controlBasic understanding of making simple API calls / using RESTPreferred Qualifications0-2 years of developer experienceExperience thriving in a fast-paced work environmentCurious, self-driven, analytical and excited to play with dataExperience in collaborating with individuals and organizationsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailBenefitsSalary range: $100,000-$125,000 (commensurate with experience)Employee stock option planHealth, dental, vision, and disability insuranceFlexible paid time offFlexible working hoursA fast-paced and exciting work environmentStrong teamwork-driven culture
