Type: Independent Contractor
Schedule: Flex-Time (15-25 hours / week)
Education: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, or a similar field, or equivalent experience
Experience: 1-3 years or More
Location: Remote (Global)

Motu Novu seeks to retain the services of a Junior PHP Developer capable of writing beautiful, fast PHP server-side code, to contribute to the design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and support of applications used by the firm and/or its clients. The position is remote and available to residents of all Countries, except: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and certain areas of Ukraine.

What You Do
Write clean, effective, fast, maintainable, PHP code.
Contribute to all phases of the development life-cycle, following industry best practices.
Maintain well-written, terse, useful documentation for existing and new applications.
What You Need: Technical
Good knowledge of the fundamentals of programming.
Good knowledge of PHP.
Knowledge of Symfony and jQuery.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Git.
Familiarity with React, MySQL/MariaDB and/or PostgreSQL.
What You Need: Non-Technical
Confident and poised attitude in internal and external interactions.
Good oral and written communications skills.
Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
English – European CEFR Level B2 or higher or equivalent proficiency.
Bone-fide setup as an independent contractor.

Base Compensation: $25/hour to $40/hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
