In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.Design, implement, and manage server level IT infrastructure, including within LAN, WAN, and cloud environmentsAdminister and optimize virtualization platforms and cloud services (e.g., VMware, AWS, Azure)Manage Linux and Windows servers, ensuring high availability and performanceDevelop and maintain automation scripts using languages such as Python and PowerShellImplement and manage configuration management tools for efficient system administrationSet up and maintain monitoring and logging systems to ensure proactive issue resolutionCollaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices and compliance measuresParticipate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testingConduct capacity planning and scalability assessments to support organizational growthTroubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and implement long-term solutionsStay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvementCOMPETENCIESDemonstrated collaboration skills - this is a global team in multiple regionsDemonstrated ability to analyze problems and understand the necessary components of a solution through analysis, planning, testing and reporting.Strong attention to detail to diagnose problems and ensure that solutions address the problem.Demonstrate proficient ability to capture and document software/hardware issues.Demonstrated ability to effectively manage project activities with and through internal relationships across all internal teams.Demonstrated accountability in project ownership and solution-oriented work approach.Planning, organizing, setting objectives and managing time to meet deadlines.Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and cloud environmentsProficiency in administering Linux (Alma Linux) and Windows serversProficiency supporting containerized workloadsExperience with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., WMware, Hyper-V, AWS, Azure)Skilled in scripting languages such as Python and PowerShellFamiliarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet)Experience setting up and managing monitoring and logging systems (e.g. Coralogix, PRTG)Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements especially PCI-DSS, SOC, GDPRStrong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issuesExperience with disaster recovery and business continuity planningExcellent communication and teamwork skillsRelevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft certifications, VMware certifications, Linux certifications, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plusAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities efficiently#LI-RemoteAdditional InformationWhat does it mean to work for Xplor?Our four core values - Make life simple, Build for people, Move with purpose and Create lasting communities - are key to who we are and guide us from how we hire to how we recognise our team members.Life at XplorYou’ll be part of a global network of talented colleagues who support your success.
