📋 Description
• Sherpa 6 is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Golang Developer to join our team.
• We build mission critical systems for the Department of Defense (DoD) and other commercial customers.
• Develop high-quality, scalable back-end code.
• This includes Go REST API development, scripting, SQL database development/maintenance, unit tests and design documentation.
• The preferred candidate has extensive experience with software development and software engineering principles.
• Act as a subject matter expert for Go Development.
• Code and test software based upon software specifications and designs.
• Analyze and study complex system requirements.
• Design software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain software development.
• Provide software process management and control throughout the coding portion of the software development process.

🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience
• 3+ years of Go development experience
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience in design, development, and documentation of REST API endpoints
• Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
• Strong proficiency in Node.js
• Experience with software development tools such as Git, JIRA, or Trello
• Demonstrated communication and teamwork skills
• Must be a US citizen
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
