📋 Description

• AMP is hiring a Full-stack Software Engineer reporting to Engineering Manager, Machine Learning on a remote basis.
• In this role, you'll help build and improve our ML Platform—especially the Data Annotation Platform and its supporting cloud infrastructure—working closely with our ML and Data Operations teams.
• You will be responsible for contributing to the maintenance and feature development of our Data Annotation platform and surrounding cloud infrastructure.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects and development efforts to support our AI lifecycle and ML platform.

🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering
• 2-4 years experience writing production-level code in Python
• 2-4 years experience writing production-level code in a modern frontend Javascript framework (Angular preferred)
• 2+ years experience working with SQL databases and data pipelines
• 1+ years experience in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and CI/CD development (Gitlab CI preferred)
• 2+ years cloud development experience, preferably in GCP
• 2+ years experience designing production software and data pipelines
• Experience with Python web development frameworks (Flask, Django, FastAPI)
• Comprehensive knowledge of professional software engineering practices; including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, project management, testing, and operations.
• Ability to work on a small team and work independently.
• 2+ years experience managing cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools (ex. Terraform)
• Familiarity with Cloud networking.
• Familiarity with the machine learning lifecycle
• A startup mentality and a passion for recycling, robotics, and changing the world
