In this role, you will build and continuously evolve our web applications that interface with our legal intelligence platform, enabling users (lawyers, compliance professionals, and automated agents) to search, explore, and interact with legal data. You’ll work on both frontend and backend — shaping the user experience, building APIs, and integrating with our core data services.What You'll DoIndependently design, implement, and maintain features in Python (backend) and React + TypeScript (frontend), with deployment to GCP.Develop and maintain APIs (REST or GraphQL), integrating with our core legal-data backend, handling data exchange between backend and frontend.Build UI components, client-side logic, forms, data display — ensuring good user experience and collaboration with design/product stakeholders.Write clean, maintainable, tested code: unit tests, integration tests, possibly end-to-end tests — for both frontend and backend components.Participate in code reviews (both giving and receiving feedback), collaborate with peers to ensure code quality and consistency.Work with DevOps and infrastructure aspects: containerization (e.g. Docker), CI/CD pipelines, cloud-based deployment on GCP, configuration of services, possibly using GCP-native tools.Collaborate with product, design, and data/AI teams to define requirements, ensure integrations align with backend data services and legal-data infrastructure.What We’re Looking ForSolid experience with Python (backend) and TypeScript + React (frontend), with real-world or substantial project background.Experience designing and consuming APIs (REST, GraphQL, or similar), backend service design, data modeling for web apps.Practical experience (or strong willingness to learn) working with GCP — deploying web applications, managing cloud resources (compute, storage, networking), and using cloud services for hosting, databases, or backend infrastructure.Familiarity with version control (Git), testing best practices, CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and modern web development workflows.Ability to work independently on feature development, take ownership over tasks, deliver end-to-end implementations from code to cloud deployment.Good communication and collaboration skills; able to coordinate with other engineers, product, and design teams.Preferably 3–5 years of relevant full-stack experience (or equivalent).You Are Someone Who That:Explores code, APIs, and cloud infrastructure to understand how all layers interact.Writes clean, maintainable, well-tested code and cares about reliability, performance, and long-term quality.Takes full ownership: delivers features end-to-end from design to deployment.Communicates well across teams and adapts easily to evolving tools and architecture.Join us in making legal information searchable, verifiable, and accessible to all!—apply today.
