Existing RPA and workflow automation tools can’t handle ambiguity or collaboration — they script repetitive processes but fail when things change. Lunos is rethinking automation from the ground up by pairing AI workers (agents that act like teammates) with workflow engines (predictable and extensible process builders).We’re starting with high-velocity internal processes in fintech and financial services (chargebacks, fraud, disputes, payables/receivables), where incumbents have failed to deliver. Backed by top investors and already working with three design partners, we’re setting out to define the next era of automation.As one of our first engineers, you’ll be shaping the core product, technology, and culture from day one.What you’ll doBuild major parts of the product across the stack — from intuitive UIs to backend workflows and AI integration.Partner with founders and design partners to validate solutions that solve real user pain.Experiment with LLMs and agent architectures to make AI workers reliable in production.Make early technical choices around architecture, infrastructure, and tooling.Help shape engineering culture and ways of working for the company.What we’re looking forStrong experience in full-stack development (TypeScript/Node.js, Python, React).Comfort with APIs and integrations (REST/GraphQL, OAuth, Slack platform).Exposure to AI/ML in production (LLMs, prompt engineering, retrieval, or agent frameworks).Knowledge of workflow/orchestration systems (queues, event-driven systems; Temporal a plus).Familiarity with modern cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP, Kubernetes/Docker, Postgres, Redis).Bonus: experience with fintech APIs, developer tools, or automation/iPaaS platforms.Why join usSignificant equity: true ownership in building a category-defining companyImpact from day one: your work will directly shape product and company trajectoryBacked and funded: substantial funding already raised, with strong design partner tractionFlexibility: work across East Coast US or UK/Europe time zonesMission: redefine how organizations run themselves with the help of humans + AI⚠️ Please note: we are unable to sponsor US visas for this role.Cherry Ventures is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
