You’ll act as the primary Technical Lead for our NetSuite and Workday Editions, building a best-in-class version of Flatfile for each respective ecosystem in collaboration with our SMEs on both platforms.As the Technical Lead, you will spearhead the technical implementation of the Editions - from schemas to integrations - leveraging best practices to accelerate the time-to-value of these offerings.Success in this role demands deep technical fluency, business systems-level thinking, and the ability to translate evolving customer requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions.This role reports to: Technical Chief of StaffWhy are we hiring for this now?Flatfile is experiencing a strong market pull for our Editions, and we are planning for rapidly accelerating growth and tons of runway.The Strategy Organization at Flatfile is lean, hungry, and a sharp team playing for a huge outcome.As we bring on more complex and high-value partners, we have a need for an experienced, hands-on builder to ensure we can support the scale of $100M of each Edition. We have an ambitious roadmap ahead of us and need someone excited to lead the charge on the technical implementation.We want you to be a part of this.In this role, you will:Spearhead the End-to-End Edition RoadmapBuild, refine, iterate, and forward deploy by any means necessaryEngage and collaborate with our System TPMs, who are interfacing with partners to define our ongoing roadmapInteract with our TPMs and Partners to grasp business processes, data structures, and integration requirementsArchitect and Scale toward Product/Partner FitCollaborate with TPMs to translate complex customer needs into solutionsUse Flatfile’s APIs and code to solve unique challenges brought on dailyDrive Cross-Functional ExecutionWork as a technical leader with the Strategy org (Flat Strat)Collaborate with product, engineering, and sales to ensure customer feedback closes product gaps and aligns with the overarching goals of the businessBe the Edition Expert for Market DominanceServe as the technical authority, designing a customized Flatfile solution that makes it the undisputed leader in automating data migration within the NetSuite and Workday ecosystemsDocument technical solutions and best practices to train and empower partners teamsEvangelize what we are building with these Editions internally, creating shared language and frameworks that are streamlined/replicable for rapid growth into new markets (e.g., Salesforce)Consider applying if the following sounds like you:Technical Acumen5+ years of experience building software, track record of building and delivering scalable solutionsDeep hands-on proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and other development tools for scripting, automation, and API integrationsExpertise in data manipulation and integration, with a clear understanding of data conversion and API consumption (REST, GraphQL, SOAP - both NetSuite & Workday are reliant)Strategic Problem-SolvingA proven ability to conduct effective discovery, translate complex business needs into technical specifications, and solve difficult problems with a bias for actionDemonstrated experience managing multiple high-priority projects simultaneously with little direction, making key decisions, and prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership.Bonus PointsExpertise in NetSuite, Workday, or Salesforce implementationsA background in customer supportAbility to build and maintain strategic relationshipsEager to learn more to be a high-output startup operator and/or future founderCompensation Range: $165K - $200K#BI-Remote
