You will be the force multiplying the efforts of two highly-skilled teams (8 engineers total), acting as the catalyst for technical direction, operational stability, and rapid feature delivery within a complex, high-impact domain. This role demands a keen focus on engineering excellence and team efficiency that will directly add value to thousands of MSPs globally. Tech StackRuby on Rails, PostgreSQL, RedisReact, JavaScript/TypeScriptMicrosoft 365 (APIs, Graph, SDKs), OAuth 2.0Azure, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD toolingWhat You'll Be DoingScope, drive and manage projects from start to finish on multiple teams with an emphasis on predictability, measurability, and sustainability.Regularly provide comprehensive reports on the status of projects, ensuring stakeholders are informed of progress, milestones achieved, challenges encountered, and any adjustments to timelines or resources.Mentor and coach two engineering teams (8 total members) in software craftsmanship, agile practices, and high-velocity delivery, fostering a culture of technical ownership and excellence in a high-trust environment.Own the robustness, scalability, and performance of our strategic Microsoft 365 features and marketplace integrations, ensuring seamless and reliable customer experiences.Drive the architectural evolution and technical strategy for our core web applications, ensuring resilience and adaptability to future product growth.Partner closely with the dedicated Product Manager to translate product strategy into clear, actionable technical roadmaps, resource allocation plans, and predictable, high-quality execution.Uphold best-in-class engineering practices, including code review standards, testing methodologies, and rigorous operational monitoring for key services.Must-Have SkillsLeadership & Coaching: Proven ability to manage, mentor, and scale multiple high-performing software engineering teams (2+ years experience preferred, but mastery is key).Full-Stack Proficiency: Strong technical depth in modern web application architecture.Solid understanding of Ruby on Rails development and advanced database operations (PostgreSQL) preferred.Functional knowledge of React or similar modern frontend frameworks.Domain Expertise: Demonstrated experience working with and managing teams focused on complex third-party SaaS integrations, particularly the Microsoft 365/Graph API ecosystem.Product Alignment & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to collaborate with Product Management, manage competing priorities, and align technical work streams directly with business outcomes.Execution Discipline: Track record of driving projects from concept to production, managing project dependencies, and consistently delivering complex, high-quality initiatives on time.Project Management: Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience using project management tools to track progress and ensure timely delivery.Nice to Have SkillsDirect experience in the Managed Service Provider (MSP) space or working on B2B SaaS applications.Prior experience with cloud-native deployment patterns.Experience with major re-architecture initiatives.At Syncro, we believe in autonomy, mastery, and purpose.
