Additionally, we help our clients identify ways they can utilize technology to improve their customer experiences, driving loyalty, cross-sell opportunities, and ultimately revenue per customer.The Role:Magna is seeking a highly capable and experienced Developer 2 to join our Delivery Team. This role is suited for professionals who have built a strong technical foundation across multiple Salesforce platforms and are ready to lead development efforts with confidence. Developer 2s take ownership of technical (primarily code-based) solutioning, collaborate with clients and internal teams, and contribute to architectural discussions, platform innovation, and code quality across projects.Responsibilities:Design and implement advanced Salesforce development solutions across 2-3 platforms, leveraging strong platform knowledge and technical acumen.Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs (demonstrated via design documentation) in collaboration with architects and project leads.Own complex development tasks including custom scripting, API integrations, automation, and advanced personalization.Engage with clients to facilitate/lead technical discovery conversations and working sessions, recommending development best practices and ensuring technical solutions align with business goals.Lead development sprints or workstreams, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, identifying root causes and proposing long-term solutions.Implement and oversee the implementation of both code-based and declarative solutions, test/QA and document builds (including test script creation) on 2-3 primary Salesforce platforms. Emphasis on following platform and client-specific coding guidelines, naming conventions, deployment practices, etc.Write and review high-quality code using Apex, LWC, AMPscript, SSJS, SOQL, JavaScript, and related technologies.Contribute to internal technical documentation and knowledge-sharing initiatives.Mentor junior developers by reviewing work, sharing feedback, and providing development guidance.Participate actively in agile ceremonies and contribute to planning, estimation, and retrospectives.Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and emerging tools, bringing new solutions to the team.Qualifications:5+ years of development experience across multiple Salesforce platforms, with demonstrated ownership of technical solutions.Strong proficiency in platform-specific languages and frameworks including Apex, LWC, AMPscript, SSJS, SOQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.Deep understanding of Salesforce data models, automation tools, and integration patterns.Experience working with external systems integrations, APIs, data feeds, CI/CD tools, and web services. Prior experience with POS, PMS, ERP development, including integrations with Salesforce CRM, non-Salesforce CRM, data warehouses, etc.Confident communicator with the ability to lead technical discussions with both internal teams and clients.Collaborative problem-solving ability.Developer-level certifications on at least 2 Salesforce platforms, with 1-2 additional advanced/specialty (architect or consultant-level) certifications.Proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable code that meets business requirements and technical standards across multiple Salesforce platformsRequired Certifications:Salesforce Certified AdministratorSalesforce Certified Platform App Builder Salesforce Certified Platform Developer 1Salesforce Certified Platform Developer 2Preferred Qualifications:Additional architect/consultant-level Salesforce certifications including: Integration Architect, Data Architect, Development Lifecycle & Deployment Architect, Application ArchitectInformed on Salesforce best practices and alternative custom building solutionsSalary and Benefits:Competitive salary range of $100-$130k (dependent upon experience)Fully remote workHealth, dental, and vision benefits20 vacation days5 Sick days401k planHealth Advocate Healthcare SupportOn-Demand Primary Care and Teladoc Virtual HealthTalkspace online mental health therapyKindbody Family-building CareHome office allowance for essentials such as desks, monitors, chairs, etc.A collaborative environment with smart, hardworking professionals who are passionate about what they do and committed to excellenceIf you are excited about the opportunity to take on challenges with enthusiasm, collaborate effectively within a team, and create innovative solutions that drive business success, then we encourage you to apply!* Permanent US work authorization required. Magna does not currently offer opportunities for sponsorship, OPT or CPT.Who you are: We are looking for highly motivated individuals who would like to be a part of something new.
