Job DescriptionData Scientist (multiple)Locations:       Schnucks Store Support Center (Corporate Office)Time type:       Full timeJob requisition id: R-0041565Job DescriptionESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIESPerform analysis using data science techniques on structured and unstructured data sets and develop solutions for targeted business needs.Conduct statistical analysis and programming using statistical software.Work with the team to mine data using modern tools and programming languages.Implement models to uncover patterns and predictions creating business value and innovation.Evaluate and design experiments to monitor key metrics and identify improvement opportunities.Develop mathematical and statistical models to distinguish relevant content or events and recognize patterns.Participate in presentations and communicate results of analysis and findings.Evaluate and utilize appropriate BI/data visualization tools available in the toolkit to streamline insights deployment.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSRequired Education: Master’s Degree in Data Science or closely-related degree.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESStrong working knowledge of Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning techniques, and Customer Lifetime Value modeling.Strong understanding of Predictive Analysis and Market Analysis.Strong proficiency using SQL and Python.WORK ENVIRONMENT40 hours per week during office hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
