Job Description: Position OverviewLead and scale our unified data engineering team to power MSPbots.ai’s next phase of growth. Drive consistent data modeling across PSA integrations and enable data-driven decision-making for our rapidly expanding SaaS platform serving 400+ customers.Role & Team StructureDirect Reports: 3 Data Engineers (with future team growth planned)Future Integration: Data Analysts for comprehensive data managementReporting Line: Executive Leadership TeamLocation: Remote (cross-timezone collaboration required for China and Philippine Team)Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership & InfrastructurePSA Data Integration: Establish unified data models across ConnectWise, AutoTask, and Halo.System Optimization: Resolve sync issues and build scalable infrastructure to support 10x customer growth.AI Product Support: Provide the data foundation for AI Ticket Triage and future AI-driven products.Analytics Platform: Develop automated dashboards for client health monitoring, churn prediction, and executive KPIs.Team Development & OperationsTalent Management: Recruit, develop, and retain top data engineering talent.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, and customer success teams.Data Governance: Establish quality standards, security protocols, and compliance best practices.Technical Mentorship: Support career growth and guide technical development within the team.Good English for cross team workingRequired QualificationsTechnical ExpertiseExperience: 10+ years in data engineering, with 2+ years in team management.Technology Stack: Strong understanding of data engineering, analytics, and data science workflows. Proficiency with modern data technologies such as SQL, Python, Snowflake, and BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau).Analytics Skills: Experience with predictive modeling, and scalable pipeline architecture. Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex data concepts into business value.Experience in SaaS, internet, or technology industries preferred.Proficiency with data integration tools, RESTful APIs, and custom ETL processes.Establish robust data governance, security, and compliance practices (e.g., SOC2, GDPR).Leadership & CommunicationEnglish Proficiency: Strong communication skills for cross-team and client collaboration.Team Leadership: Proven track record of building and managing high-performing technical teams.Business Acumen: Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.Stakeholder Management: Comfortable working with executive leadership and external clients.
