📋 Description
• InquisIT is seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Cloud Security Engineer to join our team.
• Secure AWS Environments: Architect, manage, and maintain security controls for AWS-hosted applications and services.
• Information Assurance & Compliance: Execute IA procedures, including STIG checks, Fortify scans, and POA&M development, tracking, and remediation to support compliance initiatives.
• Security Automation: Develop scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and use tools like AWS Lambda and Systems Manager to automate security tasks and compliance reporting.
• Security Monitoring & Threat Detection: Leverage AWS-native services like Security Hub, GuardDuty, Config, and CloudTrail for real-time monitoring, alerting, and continuous auditing.
• Vulnerability Management: Conduct security assessments and automated vulnerability remediation using tools such as Prisma Cloud, Amazon Inspector, Nessus, or Qualys.
• Cloud Architecture Support: Provide secure design input across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud models.
• DevSecOps Integration: Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement security in CI/CD workflows.
• Incident Response: Investigate and remediate security incidents and events.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain security documentation, architectural diagrams, security plans, and compliance reports.

🎯 Requirements
• All applicants must have an active Secret or higher government security clearance.
• Experience: 5+ years of cloud security experience, with a strong emphasis on AWS environments.
• Must possess an active Secret clearance (or higher).
