Job Description: The Opportunity: Miris is seeking skilled Go Backend Engineers to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing a website backend in Go, web application security, and network architecture. You will play a crucial role in supporting customers who use Miris to deliver 3D content for linear storytelling on various AR/VR devices.What You'll Do:Design APIs for front end web UI and customer useImplement full customer-facing webserver backend, including user account security - user sessions, login & authenticationWeb app architecture and securityConduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and enhance existing codebases to improve performance and maintainabilityWhat You'l Bring: 4+ years minimum experience with GoExperience building high-traffic web services in GoExperience writing unit testsKnowledge and understanding of distributed, highly available, and scalable cloud-based systemsKnowledge and understanding of microservice architecture and patternsExperience designing and implementing RESTish APIsExperience working with containers and CDNsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to sharing knowledge and ideasExperience with user login and authentication using providers such as Auth0, CognitoExperience with a variety of AWS services, IAM and AWS Org security models is a plusExperience with batch job control - async job status C++, Python, or Terraform are a plusVue or React are a plusKnowledge of CDN (Content Delivery Network) architectures and streaming workflows Unity or Unreal is a plusTarget Base Salary Range$89,155—$287,488 USDAbout Us:Miris is a cutting-edge technology company building the future of 3D content delivery at global scale.
