📋 Description
• Growing software company looking to hire an experienced, self-motivated Android developer to expand our native Android app.
• You’ll be directly impacting our mobile user experience by implementing new features that extend real-time communication abilities across our platform.

• Own the full mobile application development lifecycle.
• Develop, test, and deploy user interface, services, and data components for complex mobile application.
• Code, debug, test, and maintain applications to meet requirements.

🎯 Requirements
• Proficiency with current Android development practices (Java and Kotlin)
• Experience implementing Android User Interface Guidelines and Android lifecycle management
• Experience using the Google Play Developer Console
• Passion for great user experience, code quality, and testing
• Experience using REST APIs and implementing third party libraries
• Familiarity with Git
• Comfortable taking ownership of the Android product and implementing sweeping changes
• Experience with production applications and startup timelines
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to communicate effectively with peers (written/verbal)
• Understanding of the application and activity lifecycles, threading, and memory management
• Experience with agile software development methodologies (e.g., scrum)
• Knowledge of common framework libraries, firebase, etc.
