📋 Description
• This is a remote position.
• For an international organization in New York, we are urgently looking for a REMOTE AWS DevOps specialist with a history of working in an agile environment.
• Tasks and responsibilities: Assist in migration of websites to AWS; Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of AWS cloud-based production system; Ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems; Management of creation, release, and configuration of production systems; System troubleshooting and problem resolution across various application domains and platforms; Pre-production acceptance testing for quality assurance; Provision of critical system security by leveraging best practices and prolific cloud security solutions; Providing recommendations for architecture and process improvements; Definition and deployment of systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring on AWS platform; Designing, maintenance and management of tools for automation of different operational processes;

🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor or Master degree;
• +3 years of hands-on experience supporting application build and deployment in a AWS Cloud environment;
• Experience and deep understanding of core DevOps practices (Configuration Management, Continuous Integration, Infrastructure as Code, Continuous Delivery, Continuous Deployment, Continuous Monitoring);
• Experience and deep understanding of DevOps integration with automated testing and/or automation deployment verification;
• Experience and expertise in any of scripting languages and databases: Python, Terraform and MongoDB, Redis;
• Knowledge/experience with AWS services – EC2, ECS, ELB/ALB, Security Groups, Route53, IAM, KMS, Cognito, Secrets Manager, Parameter Store, Lambda, SES, SNS, SQS;
• Familiar with various Branching strategies, pull request concept and GIT commands and Bash;
• Knowledge/experience of Microservices architecture, Docker container implementation;
• Certification is an advantage;
• English language proficiency (oral and written);
